Over the past year we have significantly increased our investment programme to improve the quality, energy efficiency and safety of your homes. This year we will continue to invest and will deliver £2.5 million worth of upgrades including:
New kitchens, boilers, doors and windows to maintain our properties to the Scottish Housing Quality Standard.
Replacing roofs, rendering and adding external wall insulation helping to make your homes more energy efficient and reducing your energy bills and helping us achieve the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH).
Proactively installing new smoke and heat detection systems in all our properties to meet new health and safety standards by 2021.
Adapting our properties ensuring they are accessible, safe and meet customers’ medical needs.
Raising our standards
We are delighted to share that currently 98% of our properties meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standard and 78% meet the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing.
We are committed to improving on our position and this year we will continue to upgrade our properties. This includes kitchen, window and door replacements and external wall insulation, helping to make your homes more energy efficient and reducing your energy bills.
