Kilwinning Sports Club

Kilwinning Community Sports Club was formed in March 2000 when they negotiated the lease of Pennyburn playing fields from North Ayrshire Council.   As part of its commitment to working with the local community, the Association has developed strong links with the Club.  The playing fields have since been transformed and facilities include football pitches, training areas, family golf centre and fitness suite.  The Association assisted in obtaining funding for the enhanced facilities and continue to provide support to encourage active participation in sporting activities in order to improve health, social and life skills and community involvement.
