Tenants Could Benefit From NEW BUSINESS PartnershipIrvine Housing Association has announced that it's talking to another association about working closely together to further improve services to tenants. It's discussing whether to form a constitutional partnership with Riverside. Riverside is one of the UKs leading registered social landlords and was chosen by the Association's Board after an extensive selection process. The Association’s Board and Staff are fully committed to delivering its values and the proposed partnership would allow significantly more focus of its resources on front-line service delivery, building more homes, improving efficiency and providing the Association with stronger financial back-up and risk protection. Irvine Housing Association tenants will be instrumental as the process now progresses and have recently received a letter about the proposed partnership. Tommy Farrell, Chairman of Irvine Housing Association said, “Talks with Riverside are at an early stage and this is a process that would not happen overnight. Extensive consultations will take place with our tenants to ensure that we gain all their views and opinions on the proposed partnership. Riverside was selected as they share a similar culture, aspirations and long-term goals as Irvine Housing Association. The aim of the discussions will be to agree a partnership which will mean that Irvine Housing Association retains the local control of the services but at the same time gaining the support of a larger group, thereby ensuring that we deliver the best service possible to our customers.” |
