Irvine Housing Association is delighted to announce that Mr Stuart Kiltie of Goldie Crescent, Stakeford, has won this year’s Stakeford In Bloom Garden Competition. He is pictured in his winning garden receiving the Stakeford In Bloom Hannay Shield and a cheque for £50.00 from competition judge and Association Board Member, Alf Hannay.
Mr Kiltie said “I am delighted to have won the competition again. I have spent a lot of time in the garden this year and I am pleased that my efforts have been recognised”.
Also judging the competition this year was the Association’s Landscape Officer, John Brennan. The judges agreed that the standard of entries was extremely high and noted that there are many well presented gardens in the area.
The other winners of the competition were, Mr Terence Harkness who received Second Prize and Mr Walter Johnstone who received Third Prize.
