Each year Irvine Housing Association provides financial assistance to registered tenant organisations in its areas of operation. The Tenants & Residents Associations’ endeavour to serve the interests of the tenants and residents within their community and this funding helps to support them in this role.
Housing Administration Assistant, Joan Inches presented a cheque to Eileen Kerr, Secretary of Pennyburn Tenants and Residents Association (TARA) on 15 July 2008 at Cranberry Moss Community Centre, Pennyburn.
Eileen Kerr said: “On behalf of Pennyburn TARA I would like to thank Irvine Housing Association for their continued support.”
Pennyburn TARA supports the interests of all those living within the Pennyburn area. The TARA holds regular meetings that provide everyone with an opportunity to discuss any issues, which may concern housing and the environment of the estate. The TARA is actively seeking to encourage people to come and join their Committee and contribute to their community’s future.
