The development at Thornhouse Avenue is now complete. The development was completed in November 2007. The development comprises of 26 quality homes for rent, with 17 two-bedroom general needs properties and 9 three-bedroom general needs properties. All houses are now occupied and tenants are very satisfied with their new homes.
During the construction phase Irvine Housing Association and the main contractor, Ashleigh Ltd carried out several activities with the local primary school including a site visit during construction and a health and safety talk explaining the dangers associated with playing on building sites.
An official opening of the development is scheduled to take place in due course.
