Recruitment

Sanderson Avenue, Irvine

Irvine Housing Association worked in partnership with North Ayrshire Council and Communities Scotland to develop the Sanderson Avenue site in central Irvine following the demolition of 44 low demand four-in-a-block properties.

The total value of this exciting redevelopment project was approximately £3.4 million and resulted in a total of 46 new build quality homes for rent being constructed. 32 of these homes are mainstream general needs properties, whilst the other 14 are designed specifically for those with special needs. The houses were also designed to the Secure By Design standard following discussions with the Police Architectural Liaison Officer.

Assist Architects and Armour Construction Consultants were the appointed Design Team for the project, whilst Lovell Partnerships was the main contractor.

The local primary school, Loudoun Montgomery, were also involved in various events including a time capsule and a street naming competition.
