The Company is run by a voluntary Board comprising of 1/3 tenants, 1/3 community people and 1/3 business, professional and technical people. The current Board of 15 includes three Dumfries Members and two Drongan Members. Board Members are also members of the Company and are elected at the Company’s Annual General Meeting. Membership of the Company is open to individuals within the three categories mentioned above.
The full Board meets every two months and has overall control of the Company’s affairs and is responsible for the policies of the organisation. The Board operates three sub-committees - Finance and Corporate Services; Business Development; and Operations.
The Company’s staff team is led by the Chief Executive who reports directly to the Board and is supported by four Directors who have responsibility for their various departments, namely - Housing and Support Services, Technical Services, Finance, and Executive Services.
The Company’s head office is situated in Irvine. Two local offices operate in Dumfries and Drongan. Office-based staff fill 40 full-time posts, over 50% of whom have qualifications in their various disciplines. There are also 14 part-time/job-share staff. In addition there are 2 full-time and 3 part-time site staff delivering sheltered housing.
The staff team are responsible for the day-to-day business of the Company and are committed to providing quality services to the Company’s customers.
