Mr Tommy Farrell

Mr Thomas Farrell JP (Chair)

Appointed to the Board in February 2004. Appointed Chair in August 2006. Retired businessman. Former local elected member for Strathclyde Regional Council and its Chair of Education for several years before the demise of the Regional Council. Former East Ayrshire Council Member representing Drongan, Stair and Rankinston. Mr Farrell is on the Board under the Community Representative category.

 

Mr Geoff Fleming (Finance and Corporate Services Committee Chair)

Appointed to the Board in November 2004. Mr Fleming is Customer Service Team Manager for BT Retail for South West Scotland. Formerly Area Manager for Dumfries and Galloway. Mr Fleming was involved with Young Enterprise, Scotland and is BT’s representative with the Scottish Rugby Union from the Dumfries and Galloway area. Mr Fleming jointly runs a local weight-training club. Mr Fleming is on the Board under the Business, Professional and Technical category.

 

Mr Alf Hannay (Business Development Committee Chair)

Appointed to the Board in November 1998. Dumfries & Galloway Health Board employee. Former District and Regional Councillor with Dumfries & Galloway Council and Nithsdale District Council. Former Dumfries & Galloway Council Member representing Maxwelltown. Former Director of Solway Community Business. Former Board Member of Queen of the South Football Club. Mr Hannay is on the Board under the Community Representative category.

 

Councillor Margaret McDougall (Operations Committee Chair)

Appointed to the Board in July 1999. Assistant Co-ordinator of Communities Scotland. Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Elected North Ayrshire Council Member representing Kilwinning South. Vice-Chair of Corporate Policy Services Committee. Ex officio on Social Services Committee, Corporate Services Committee, Property Services Committee and Education Committee. Mr Iain Doole

Appointed to the Board in February 2003. A Business Director with BT Global Solutions, a division of British Telecom, specialising in corporate business solutions for multi-nationals. Miss Fiona Dunlop

Mrs Mary Marks

Mrs Moira Miller

Appointed to the Board in February 2004. Involved closely with the tenant movement in Drongan for over 10 years. Was part of the Steering Group set up to guide the creation of Coylebank Tenants Co-operative and has served as its Chairperson since 1999. Mrs Miller is on the Board under the Tenant Representative category.
