Paul Hillard Managing Director - Paul Hillard BA (Hons),  MBA,     MCIH

As the Managing Director and Secretary of Irvine Housing Association Paul has direct responsibility for advising the Board on strategic issues, ensuring the Association is governed appropriately and providing leadership to the staff team. He also has overall control and management of the Association’s operation, ensuring all activities are carried out in an effective and efficient manner consistent with the Associations values.

Paul is a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and is a Master of Business Administration. He commenced his career in housing over twenty years ago. He has worked in a range of roles and has experience in housing management and maintenance, supported housing, housing development and estate regeneration. Paul is also a volutary non-exective Director of the Scottish Community Development Centre. 

             Executive Director (Resources) - Mairi Martin, CIPD

Mairi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. In addition to Mairi’s Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources she also has a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology. Her responsibilities as the Association’s Director of Executive Services include employment, personnel, learning and development, payroll, pensions, administrative support services, front line company services, data protection, public relations and marketing, company secretarial and research. She is also responsible for all IT issues including projects, strategy plans, systems and procedures. Mairi’s previous roles have included IT Manager and Software Development Manager in large private sector companies. Mairi has been in management for the last fourteen years but has been in IT for over seventeen years and Human Resources for over five years.

 

  Executive Director (Operations) - Nicola Thom

Nicola’s responsibility covers all aspects of front line service delivery, including Customer Services and Community Involvement, Housing Management, Rent Arrears Management, Property and Landscape Maintenance, Allocations and Void Control, Technical Contracts Management, Factoring Services and Health and Safety.

Nicola has worked in housing for over 20 years, starting her career in Glasgow City Council, before moving to work in Ayrshire in 1992.  Nicola has diverse range of experience, having previously held the position of Assistant Area Housing Manager within East Ayrshire Council, before being promoted to Homeless Strategy and Services Manager.  In 2007, Nicola took up the position of Divisional Manager within North Ayrshire Council, where her responsibilities included the management of Homelessness and Support Services, Quality and Performance Services, Supporting People and Development and Strategy Team.
