The Association Seeks the Views of Residents in Pennyburn, Kilwinning

Irvine Housing Association held a Community Consultation Day in Cranberry Moss Community Centre, Pennyburn, Kilwinning, on 5 March 2008.  The purpose of the event was to gain the views of the local tenants and residents on the open space areas within Pennyburn, Kilwinning.

Tenants and residents were able to look at displays showing the main areas of concern within the estate, such as litter, parking, play areas and landscaping. Feedback was obtained from questionnaires or by speaking to Association staff and representatives from City Design Co-operative, the consultants commissioned by the Association to co-ordinate the project.

Frank Donohoe, Director of Technical Services said: “The Association is delighted with the number of local residents who attended the event and with the level of feedback that we have obtained. This information will now be incorporated into costed design options for enhancing the landscape areas throughout Pennyburn.”
